A visit from Aunt Brandi and "Ninny"

Brian's sister Brandi came to visit us all the way from NC. Both kids really became attached to her and her dog Ginny. One of the days she was here we went to the Art Museum. While we didn't find the museum that interesting we found a way to make it fun!

Jack pointed at this statue and said "Um-paw?"

Even Jack liked trying on the hats!

Not much explanation needed...

Kayla was getting ready to attack "Ninny" in this photo. All weekend she would crawl up to Ginny and smack her and run away giggling.

Kayla played board games with us one afternoon while Jack was sleeping...

We have had a lot going on at our house the last few weeks. Brian's parents were here last weekend to celebrate Kayla's birthday early. Then Brian's sister Brandi came to visit us over easter weekend. I will have to post more pictures once I get to go through them all. But here is a good Easter pic Brandi took.

This is my new favorite picture of my men taken at Applebee's.

Who's the pretty girl in the reflection?

Ornery meets ornery..er!

We celebrated Kayla's birthday a little early. She wasn't as excited about cake as her brother was. And her favorite part about her gifts were the tags on the clothes! :)

Just bein silly while eating cake.

This is cousin Meadow during her Birthday party. She is four weeks older than Kayla and turned 1 on March 9th.

I didn't want Jack to feel left out since I posted about Kayla! :) Jack is approaching 2 and a half and is a bundle of fun...and energy. I am sure very shortly Jack and Kayla are going to get into all kinds of mischief. They already enjoy picking on each other. Although mainly it is Kayla that picks on Jack. She likes to crawl over whenever he has his bear and snatch it away with a little giggle! Jack likes any kind of technology and can work and cell phone, camera or remote he can get his hands on. He still likes to carry around his voice recorder of daddy and listen to it while daddy is at work during the day. He likes to help me change Kayla's diaper so he can blow on her belly. And he usually kisses her right after he bonks her in the head with whatever toy is in his hand. There is never a dull moment at our house, that's for sure!

Jack's self portrait with our camera.

Jelly man...

Normal Jack.

Kayla at 11 months

Kayla is still busier than Jack was at this age. She will stand alone for a few seconds once or twice a day. Keeping up with her brother is full time job! She loves to make noise and has recently discovered Jack's xylophone.

Daddy calls this my crooked smile. It helps me think when I stick out my tongue. Sometimes having an older brother can be a real pain!...Literally. This was Kayla's first bruise after Jack pushed her down. Kayla loves to eat tablefood now and makes funny faces while she is chewing. Her favorites are "baby cookies", cheerioes, and bannana. She is also developing a little "tude". But she can dry it up and keep playing just as fast as she can get mad. :)
