Jack likes to give out kisses now. Mainly just to Kaitlyn, the little girl I babysit, and to himself when he sees a mirror. He is quite the little charmer for sure!

A trip to the fair

A couple of weeks ago we went to the fair and forgot to post pictures. Jack had a fun time seeing the pigs and also watching a chain saw sculptor with Daddy.

One Book...

I have been tagged by Abby Cavanaugh. Up until now I thought "tagged" was what you did to deer after you shot them! I did grow up with Mike Cloud as a father! I will also preface this by saying I spend my days with children now and that will reflect in most of my answers. I have given up the theological for nursery rhymes!

1. One book that changed your life: Supernatural Childbirth by Jackie Mize. This book helped me get through labor and delivery without pain killers.

2. One book that you've read more than once: The Princess by Lori Wick

3. One book I'd want on a desert island: my Bible and Abby so I could borrow How to Build a Raft Out of Palm Trees

4. One book that made me laugh: Any Amelia Bedlia book by Peggy Parish. For example, how do you steak tomatoes? Well you tie steak to them of course!

5. One book that made me cry: The Jungle by Upton Sinclair. I was so grossed out I cried!

6. One book that you wish you had written: Dangerous Journey: The Story of the Pilgrim's Progress by Oliver Hunkin. It is the children's version of Pilgrim's Progress and the illustrations are amazing.

7. One book you wish had never been written: Any Physics textbook! Why must classes like that always be at 8am?

8. One book that you are currently reading: Personality Plus: How to Understand Others by Understanding Yourself by Florence Littauer

9. One book that you've been meaning to read: The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian

Meredith snapped this picture when Jack crawled over to her and climbed her legs. Jack is so proud of his new abilities.

10 months old

Jack turned 10 months old on Tuesday and is Mr. Personality! He is pulling up and getting braver all the time at standing and exploring. He makes mama tired from trying to keep up with him!
