Kayla has discovered her feet and the joy of sucking her lips.

You never know what might bring out a smile.

While we were outside one morning Jack insisted on wearing Daddy's hat...on top of his own hat! He is becoming quite the Daddy's boy. When he gets in trouble during the day from mommy, he starts calling for Daddy. And the minute he hears the garage door open at the end of the day he runs to the door yelling "daddy". And he usually doesn't let Brian out of his sight until bedtime.

Some outfits get passed on to boy and girl babies. At least I added a skirt to make her look a little more girly in her steelers onesie.

Swimming fun

We took Jack swimming the other night and he had a blast swimming with Daddy. Kayla stayed close by the pool and just chilled.

Kayla is four months old!

It is hard to believe Kayla is already four months old! She had her check-up yesterday and was 13lbs 14oz and 23.75 inches. Our doctor just loves babies, we go to a family doctor so he doesn't see many babies throughout the day. Usually he tells me "she's just perfect", but yesterday he said she was advanced. He mainly said this because she is very alert and watches everything. I of course think it's because she has to look out for her big brother. For example, yesterday I had laid her next to me on the couch just to let her stretch. Jack came over and tried to roll her off the couch onto the floor, all the while saying "thank you". He is such a polite little boy...

Jack's first visit to PA

Last Sunday we took Jack to Cambridge to meet up with Nana and some of her sisters. Jack then went home to PA with Nana for a few days and mommy came later in the week with Kayla. His favorite activity was playing in the pool, by the end of the week he was fearless!
