A "normal" day with Jack

Jack is developing quite the fun personality. He has recently discovered many new faces he can make, and he gets very proud of himself when he does something he thinks he shouldn't! That is why he has such big grins on his face when he climbed into the toy basket, on the end table, and on top of the couch all by himself. He is turning into quite the little monkey boy, which is a little scary since Mama can not move as fast with only 6 weeks until the arrival of baby number two is due!

Jack and Mr. Bear enjoyed watching the snow yesterday while waiting for Daddy to get home.


I have been changing the batteries in some of the baby toys lately and Jack had quite a time in the swing. It's a good thing that it has a 25lb weight limit!


Every night before bed we say a prayer with Jack. Most nights he lays his head on Mommy's belly during the prayer. We don't think he knows he will have a baby sister soon, he just thinks mommy has a nice pillow to rest his head on!

The long awaited Christmas present

Jack has had a Christmas present on backorder from Nana and Grandpa Snyder that finally came on Saturday. It is a new steeler blanket just Jack's size. They may not have made it to the Superbowl...or close to it for that matter...but Jack and Daddy are still fans!!!
